Happy Snapshot Saturday, kids! This is the second edition of “Snapshot Saturday!” and its coming from 3 Cordilleras Brewery in Medellin. In case you missed the introduction last week, this new series is for all of you super social/popular/active/ADD folks out there who would rather look at a quick picture on Saturday morning than read anything other than the back of the cereal box. (I’m with you on this guys, its Saturday!) So, here ya go… careful, don’t drip any of that cereal milk on your laptop as you rush out the door to conquer the world, mmmmk?

3 Cordilleras Brewery

3 Cordilleras’ brewery has a pretty genius set-up for a Thursday night; 20,000 COP (approx $10 USD) gets you entrance and five drink tickets. In the states, this would probably mean “samples.” Nobody likes samples. 3 Cordilleras says “screw samples!” and gives you five full size beers, as well as a tour of the brewery — all included in admission. Now, I didn’t exactly take the tour. In my defense, it was in Spanish and I had CINCO beers to finish before 9:00pm when they kick everyone out. Regardless of missing out on the educational aspect of the evening, I thoroughly enjoyed 3 Cordilleras and their tasty beer selection.

3 Cordilleras opens their doors on Thursday nights only, from 5:30-9:30. Its located on Calle 30, right off the Industriales Metro Stop. Get there at opening so you can thoroughly enjoy all five of your beverages!
